The C20B/J model is the cornerstone of the Model 250 engine line. With over 12,000 units delivered to date, the C20 is known worldwide for its for reliability. Since certification, the C20B has continuously benefitted from enhancements developed across the entire Model 250 product line. Recent improvements include a new first-stage turbine nozzle material that significantly extends the component’s life and maintains engine performance, along with improved gearbox lip-seals and shaft journals to reduce oil consumption. These improvements continue to decrease direct operating costs while increasing the mean time between removals. Many of these improvements can be installed by the Rolls-Royce Model 250 FIRST network of worldwide authorized repair and overhaul network centers. 
